Re: Who was your Ulster MOTM against Leinster
no idea. Need to watch the game again to make a decision,
Williams was incredible in my opinion with no handling errors.
Scrum probably won us the game so maybe court or big john.

Tom Court. While the whole pack deserve credit he seemed to have been the guy making Leinster give away the penalties.

Once again John Afoa was the cornerstone of a dominant scrum and appeared regularly in the line where he invariably made ground. he gets my vote.

Diack played a blinder
Great lineout option
Dumped a few men into touch
Disrupted ruck ball
Few great tackles
Also, how great is it to see Paddy Jackson put Sean O'Brien on his hole?
What about her eyes?

Re: Who was your Ulster MOTM against Leinster
close call between Court and Afoa for me. For the amount of work he got through and the damage he did, i gave my vote to big bad John. Rugby is a funny old game, i thought we would have parity in the forwards before the game, didn't think we would get so much out of the scrum. Our mauling was terrific too, used at the right time, it had a great effect. Such a difficult skill to master, our lads made mauling look easy.

Court was immense in the scrum, but Williams was incredible. He's not just a big ball carrier, he's a big tackler and a great workman at the breakdown too. My vote goes to him.
You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.

TC for me, but could've been any of the front row. Special mention for Diack, who was just behind TC imo, also Hendo, McComb and Chad. Fair play to NW- controlled at the back of the scrum like I never though he could. Lukey also has become more than the heir apparent for the Ireland 12 shirt- he served D'Arcy...
Although Bent seems a decent tighthead, not sure he offers any more than Deccie apart from fitness. I'd put DF ahead on technique tbh, but if he's always broken..
Pity we didn't see Smallp and Ruan earlier...

All good points CIMAN well made. count me in too on NW, he made a big effort to control his urges! Never thought i'd see the day. That catch he took off his toes, on the run, was a thing of beauty from a big man.CIMANFOREVER wrote:TC for me, but could've been any of the front row. As for Bent, i'm sure he will learn a lot from tonight and come back better for it.

Big nick my MOM
He's the one who got the crowd and the team going with some brutal carries.
Solid at re-starts, where we have not been good lately, and got us possession and made yards
Was wilsonesque in his control at the back of the scrum, the lad is learning.
No showboating, just an excellent shift at the coal face and got the best ovation of the night when he came off.
Has to play 8 or nowhere IMO - someone asked about roger playing 6 for saints, and yes he certainly did and I can see that being trialled very shortly.
Well done to the crowd tonight as well. Such a difference from last week. Superb support and respectful - unlike the tool from Leinster who shouted during paddys first penalty
We've all got our Christmas wish early
Yaaaaaaaaaaahoooooooooooooo

Re: Who was your Ulster MOTM against Leinster
Personally I'd go for Tom Court, man on a mission!
Special mentions to,
Afoa- Ulster's most important player
McComb- our most improved player this season?
Henderson- his potential is simply scary.
Henry- seriously he just never stops! Best back rower in Ireland by a country mile.
Big Marshall- a definite changing of the guard with D'Brennan. Outplayed his opposite number comprehensively.
Clanger- kept Leinster in it

Re: Who was your Ulster MOTM against Leinster
He hit a ruck with about 15mins to go to win us a scrum (I think). Anyway the hit was almost earth shattering, when he controls his aggression as he did tonight he is immense.ruckover wrote:Court was immense in the scrum, but Williams was incredible.
