BOD only ever gets dropped by Kiwis.
Always ask yourself, "What would Big Rodney do"... And every time the answer is... "Eat It"

Re: Brian O'Driscoll has been dropped
course not BOD has a contract for next season, he will play if still in possession of all limbs.ColinM wrote:Will Schmidt have the kahunas to do the same?
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.
Re: Brian O'Driscoll has been dropped
Perhaps Angry Andy could offer some twitter advice to BOD on how to cope with the disappointment of non-selection, even when your form has been good enough to justify it.
Re: Brian O'Driscoll has been dropped
Did BOD's form justify it though? He hasn't been fantastic in the two tests and Jonathan Davies (who was in-form before forced out of position) needs to play 13, he's nowhere near as good at 12. I would have had BOD on the bench, but certainly not behind Tuilagi who has done nothing at all.Samstew wrote:Perhaps Angry Andy could offer some twitter advice to BOD on how to cope with the disappointment of non-selection, even when your form has been good enough to justify it.
You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.
Re: Brian O'Driscoll has been dropped
I totally agree with you on the above, he should be at least on the bench.ruckover wrote:Did BOD's form justify it though? What G**land has successfully achieved is, all media interest being focussed on this non-selection and away from the team!
I was only referring, tongue in cheek, to something I had heard some time ago, that BOD had a hand in the non-selection of AT in the Ireland side.
This together with the interesting Tweet Bod sent on the eve of AT getting his 50th Cap for Ireland v Canada.

Love this! The Aussie nurses get paid today!
Re: Brian O'Driscoll has been dropped
There is a bit of symmetry about the whole thing... WG gives BOD his first cap against Australia in 1999 and ends up dropping him against Australia 14 years later!
