There are times when I think that I might be a misanthrope, moments like that prove me wrong.

I'm going to have to have a word with SWMBO for not dusting in here.

Finally getting fibre broadband!

Gone from 2.8mb to 33mb. Line speed was only estimated at 13mb.

Sadly this is what really cheers me up.

Good on you.
Having said that we have 2Mb download and it's good enough.
Even with several people sharing I can download more in realtime than a brain can process.
We'll never get fibre where I live, but the view is nice.

Like some, I'd be happy with the 2.8. If you hadn't upgraded to the fibre would your 'ordinary' line speed rise around the time when fibre becomes available on your line?

Staggering drunks when they fall.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Even SuperDave couldn't make a stronger case than these guys.
