Volunteer at an animal sanctuary; it will fill you with joy , despair, but most of all love, unconditional love of the animals.

Anyone want to have a guess at QFs?
How many from each country will be there?

We got lucky by having an Italian team in our group and a french team that prioritised the T14 and then sent a 2nd string team.
There's lies, damned lies and statistics ...... everyone knows we're not fit to polish the English teams' boots.

Re: After HEC Round 5
Would both of them come over for the match, or would one be saving his dosh for the semi-final and final?kingofthehill wrote:Hopefully the two English 7 and 8.Snipe Watson wrote:that's going to be 3 Irish, 3French and 2 English.kingofthehill wrote:Anyone want to have a guess at QFs?

Re: After HEC Round 5
Proof if any was required that the Irish are cheating bar steward. Everybody knows England has 2,000 clubs and 2,500,000 players at all levels (RFU 2013 estimates) and Ireland only have 232 Clubs and 160,875 players at all levels (Irfu annual report 2013). Ridiculous that they have won so many European titles and have more teams in the quarter finals this year. Something MUST be wrong!!
From the rolling glens of Antrim through the hills of Donegal we will stand and shout for Ulster as we win both scrum and maul from the lovely lakes of Fermanagh tae the shores of ould Lough Gall we will scream and shout for Ulster as we beat them one and all!
Re: After HEC Round 5
So, by my reckoning, if we beat Leicester by more than 7 then we will meet them again in the 1/4 final, if they get a losing bonus point then we play Sarries on the assumption that they get 5 points against the westies.
If we lose at Leicester then we'll finish 7th and end up away to one of Toulon, Toulouse or Clermont.

No Boris bikes outside London. So these 2 chubes would not know what they were.
Re: After HEC Round 5
Stats are a little bit misleading. Of course sides from Pools 2 and 5 will be better compared to other teams: they feature the Italian sides who concede scores often and don't score themselves.big mervyn wrote:Ulster have scored more points than any other side - 157

If you look at our 'big' games, we've only scored 5 tries, and one of those was against a second-string Montpellier side. Defence is defence against any side of course, so we're good in that regard, but I'd still say the stats are probably making us look better than we are.
You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.
Re: After HEC Round 5
I'm going to be confident and say we'll win in WR next week so here's my prediction at the QFs:
Ulster v Saracens
Toulouse v Leicester
Toulon v Leinster
Munster v Clermont

Toulouse v Leicester
Toulon v Leinster
Munster v Clermont

Re: After HEC Round 5
Consensus on the sarries board is that we are the easiest option
