Tried the smoky/peaty brands. Not for me. I think some recycling of cash for ash going on.
Glenmorangie for me. Heavenly.

And to you goes the credit for saving the site from being without a single post for the whole day of 29 April 2020.
And on such a critical topic!

More than usual but no hangover yet despite resorting to Frosty Jacks White cider (& blackcurrant cordial) whilst BBQing last Saturday.

Irish testing for covid 19--

At 7 pm take the top off a bottle of best Whiskey -- smell it and taste it -- if you smell it and taste -- finish the bottle

If don't smell it and taste -- finish the bottle and go into isolation and continue testing in the same manner -- when you start to smell it and taste come out of isolation and commence testing again.

Any of you tried King William gin?

No prizes for guessing its flavour profile but it’s extremely drinkable, especially in the stupidly hot weather at the moment.

I’m about to kick off the weekend with a change from the usual G and T.

Going to experiment with a brandy and pear cider. I have a feeling it will work.

Currently enjoying a large glass of Titanic Gin and Fevertree Tonic. Very nice it is too.

It's a nice alternative to Bombay or Tanqueray my usual choices.

I still can't understand that Fevertree advert where they say the tonic makes up 75% of the drink

Not really a whiskey drinker, but currently in Inverness and had a glass of Dalwhinnie with the missus, both enjoyed it as something different from the usual gin for her and red wine for me.

Colind gin makes 25% of the glass fever tree 75% -- you've been getting the proportions wrong , which is why you don't understand it.
