Flannery got twenty points for Shannon last week.

Could be a good addition.

My Ennis based spies claim he is an excellent addition, theyre a bit miffed and are unsure how he has fallen down the pecking order

Really depends on the position doesn't it. 12/13 versatility is a prized asset (the lack of which is one of the reasons Big Stu has less Ireland caps than he ought to have). 11/14/15 versatility is also pretty desirable, as is 4/6, 6/8 etc (look at POM who still sneaks into Lions and International bench spots because he can play 6,7 and 8). Its the 10/15 one that is more of a curse than a blessing because the positions are just so different you can't realistically hope to be world class at both, not to mention 10 is basically the most visible position so your performance in that jersey has to be spot on, there's very little room for errors.

Good try by Shea O'Brien. Bad missed tackle by Carson for one of the Munster scores.

2 trys handed to them on a plate otherwise seemed an even contest.

Some poor tries given up there. McNabney continuing to push at the scrum when their no. 8 Okeke has long picked up giving him a run to the line is very basic. Have saw lots of good clips with McNabney with ball in hand but maybe he isn’t as strong defensively?

Tackling hasn’t got any better with the next generation Humphreys’ but he looked decent of the tee.

all very valid points. i guess the back 3 and back row are becoming more interchangeable... but we are seeing less and less players covering 9/10/15 or back row and lock in recent times.... remember when Hendy was a 6?
