Wilson most impressive ulster player, then Crothers and McCormick.
McNabney looked a bit raw but not surprising given youth and inexperience.

Not being argumentative here; genuinely interested. If Wilson was the most impressive player how come he has been dropped for McGuire?

Rumours of a small covid outbreak in the under 20s.

Great match. Ireland managed a converted try at the depth to win 17. 16. Much better than the turgid fare on offer in Glasgow

Great win, well worth the watch on Iplayer catch up if you missed it

Ulster players did well. Crothers again had a massive game carried and poached, his leadership and Irelands game management / decision making from penalties was spot on.

Great match, great watch in the last ten minutes, great calm application right at the end, great result.

France certainly had their pockets picked. Ireland did well to scramble and desperately hang in there as France were on the front foot for long periods. Couple of missed kicks and wayward final passes did for them. France will probably feel they didn't get the homer ref decisions but then Ireland had a try chalked off too.

Crothers made a few crucial interventions. Was all over the pitch.

When their big sub prop came on in the second half the Ireland scrum creaked and got marched back a couple of times they just about stuck in there.

Is it just me or were the Ireland team mouthy as anything? Every breakdown they were claiming for something. I thought the ref would have been well within her rights to tell them to button it but maybe I'm old fashioned!
