Edinburgh turn over Weegies to win the cup (and deny them a bonus point)

Record crowd for this match too with K15+

It's not fair. Why haven't we got a Mickey Mouse cup?

Love how he lost it at one of his touch judges

I want to spend NYE in Edinburgh at Hogmonay. Wonder can i get someone to pay my expenses. Oh look, there is a game on.

So the SRU provide a trip for Nige but have to have jobber other officials

Not a good result for Irish rugby, it brings Edinburgh a bit closer to connacht and highest placed scots qualify anyway so no effect on glasgow.
Connacht need to beat them in Galway next week
Meanwhile some of our other celtic cousins suspect that munster lost to connacht under orders from irfu.
To help connacht qualify for rcc at the expense of the scarlets! :D

was at the game, fair play to Edinburgh. they broke up the game and once they got ahead never looked like letting go. really tenacious performance in some fairly manky conditions.

was surprised at Glasgow - normally associate them with the ability to manage a game well, even when things are going against them. when Niko went over early in the second half everyone in our group of 18 or so was convinced that they'd turn it around. Edinburgh did well to stop that from happening.

would love to see some of the penalty decisions back. If Nige was so unhappy with the scrum, were words had / cards threatened? It seemed like every chance he got he simply pinged an alternate member of the Glasgow pack.

Cards threatened
Andress taken off

Rest history

Well not so much history
Glasgow started to play silly buggers, trying tk buy penalties and Nige, unlike the others, was wise to it

Matawalu really played into Edinburgh's hands with a series of rash decisions. A cool head would have cranked up the pressure after the Glasgow try, but he kept trying the improbable and giving them back the ball. Their lineout was a mess too so when Edinburgh had a series of bad kicks straight out, they couldn't take advantage.

We have the Inter-pros. If we win by 5 points today, we claim the old-style title.

I would not be against the reintroduction of the old competition as part of the league.

Well we finished last in the end. Connacht top, Munster second and Leinster sneaking 3rd with that last try.
