Re: £7m shirley deserves its own thread
Is it possible that the bucketbake loon in the Dail is misinformed?
Could it be that the demonstrably & monstrously homophobic party of Bible Thrashers, the DUP haven't actually been involved in any form of skullduggery.
Is it possible that a head honcho in a firm of briefs has really done nothing remotely dodgy, that his erstwhile colleagues are just getting their panties in a bunch and are reputationally concerned and really just a bit limpy & wimpy?
I have no idea, I'm off to consult the Easter Bunny & see what the scuttlebutt is on Easter Island.

What I am surprised at is , that the When it was discovered, that £7M was ina off shore account then, it was reported to the LS and not the police . I thought even at that stage the LS should have involved the police.
I am sure it's not a fall out over who got the biggest percentage of Commission ?

I've been convinced from the start that someone did not get as much wedge as they expected or possibly was getting none so spilled the storyKofi Annan wrote:What I am surprised at is , that the When it was discovered, that £7M was ina off shore account then, it was reported to the LS and not the police . No idea how much of this stuff can be taken as any more than wild speculation but it certainly is entertaining. I doubt Bryson is just making it up, but where's he getting it? https://jamiebrysonblog.wordpress.com

Some of what he is saying is already known/acknowledged within the business community but it is in nobodies interests to start a which hunt as the unsuspecting could just as easily end atop the pyre as those currently taking flak.
Why it surprises anyone that the Lagan Group might have sought to 'influence' NI Govt ministers is beyond me. I know small time house builders that have crossed the palms with certain councillors to get questionable planning permission on a number of occasions. One particularly heinous example was a single detached house with decent grounds turned into 12 flats.
I don't think Jamie is anywhere well enough connected, beyond the local UVF, to know a lot of what he's writing so he is almost certainly being fed information from someone/somewhere that is either unable or afraid to publish it.
You know when Eamonn Mailee is encouraging people to listen to that little hood rat he's onto something.
