6 Nations 2016

Post by mikerob »

For anyone who hasn't had their fill of international rugby following the RWC, the FFR have tickets on sale for the France v Ireland game on 13 Feb 2016.

Just got a couple and seems like there are a good few left.

We're doing it as a day trip so drinking plans will need drawn up well in advance.

It also saves me the prospect of having to fork out for an expensive Valentine's meal.

Any tips on somewhere decent for a pint near the Gare du Nord anyone?

Gare du Nord is one of the most expensive places to drink

But if you head north and walk towarfs montmartre there are a lot of lovely cafes within 5 minute walk

Cheers Russ.

We were planning on coming over for the Glasgow game but we can watch that on the tele and go to Paris with no time off work and no need for a cat sitter!

It was good to see that when Joe was asked about injuries to his squad being named for the 6N's he said he would have to wait until after the match tonight (Leinster v Toulon) then as an after thought he mentioned that he might have to view the 2 then 3 matches tomorrow before making a decision. Good to know we are at the front of his mind.

If he is going by form he won't have many of today's players in the squad for the 6 Nations

Well, you know who ran around, expended a load of energy and achieved precisely nothing, so he will be in the centre......or the wing.... oh he's just too good to leave out.

Anyone expect Ireland to win on goal difference again?
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Thought Ruddock played pretty well. He's consistent, abrasive and a tough big nut. A good 6 for the 6N if POM is still out. Can play 8 at a pinch too and is streets ahead of wee Jordi Murphy for cover in any backrow position.

Lord BOD reckons Ringrose is worth considering for the squad.

Lord BoD needs to learn his place. So does Ringworm

Yes with the backing of BoD

Sure Leinster are awesome so we should see an entire Leinster backline

Remember also munter pack never takes a step back so we'll have the entirety of their pack
