Sun was coming up when I was last leaving it and that was at a January match, opening hours could be described as flexible

She's intent on going to her mate's wedding.

I've therefore recruited 2 good(ish) Belfast lads to accompany me to Parma, with the likelihood of a few more!

2 of us booked. Dublin to Linate early friday morn, back evening from Malpensa on the Monday. £78.
Next accomodation. Anyone stayed in Hotel Torino?
Finally match tickets. Havent been before. No idea of stadium and location of bars etc .Prefer terrace rather than sitting.
Any suggestions? Presume just buy on the day.

There's a fair chance you won't want to.

Was talking to a couple of Scarlets lads today - sound guys. Have been to Parma, apparently the restaurant beside the Dubh Linn Pub specialises in Horse meat. Found it on google maps Osteria Dello Zingaro.

Most of the restaurants have horse steaks on the menu, more horse eaten in Italy than in France and vast majority of it is eaten in Northern Italy

Very lean and just a bit stronger flavour from normal steak but suppose that there is quite a variation in quality as there are bound to be a lot of different ages of stock used, after a few pints if you were not told you probably wouldn't notice.

You could get horse on your pizza in Treviso.

Had it in France a couple of times, in burger form and on the BBQ. Soaks up red wine reasonably well.
