Bit of a strange one especially with Henderson's injury.

Fair play and good luck to him! Leaves us a bit light in the row now for rest of season though?

We're a bit light in the row now. Inspector Browne to the rescue.

Always liked Lewis as an honest sort of grafter.

The merits of releasing a player mid season whenst others are injured are puzzling.

All the best to him. Hope he got a good deal for himself. Fair play to Ulster as well for releasing him.

Quote from Bryn:
"It also gives an opportunity during the remainder of the current season for Academy players like John Donnan and Alex Thompson, who have been working with Pete Browne in the 'A' set-up, to move up the pecking order, therefore getting exposure at a higher level, as we continue to develop our young, home-grown indigenous players.
Suggests Browne has been acting as a mentor to the young players and we might see a few appearances from those two Academy players in the near future.
You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.

Mentored by Browne?

Sorted at last, Browne checks all the variables then shouts at Donnan or Thompson to carry on and he then watches their efforts and advises them on how they are doing

Classy by UR to let him go to Exeter now for his benefit. Also creates a space in the pecking order for a young gun to stake a claim. Touhy is back sometime in next month, and AOC is nailing a place down. Kiss is slowly but surely having a clear out, and seeing if a few young'uns have what it takes. Think the 1st half in oyonnax gave Kiss food for thought, and I believe he has some very definitive ideas on his squad makeup and surplus players. All the best to Lewis.
