Rory Best, Andrew Trimble and Jared Payne will all be available for selection for Friday’s game having missed out against Glasgow with minor injuries.

There was less good news for Alan O’Connor and Nick Williams however with both at risk of missing the rest of Ulster’s season due to injuries picked up in Friday’s game.

Lock O’Connor dislocated his right shoulder in Friday’s game and will be seeing a specialist to determine whether he will need surgery. At this stage he has not been ruled out for the remainder of the season.

Williams suffered both a groin injury and also aggravated an ongoing shoulder problem during the game and will not be available for selection this week either.

Ian Humphreys is still suffering from a back injury and is being assessed on a week to week basis while Louis Ludik pulled up in captain’s run last week with a groin injury and is unlikely to be involved this week too.

There is better news for Tommy Bowe who has reached the end stage of his rehabilitation for his knee injury and his return to play is being assessed on a week to week basis.

Ruaidhri Murphy will miss Friday’s game with a finger injury while Sammy Arnold (hamstring) and Wiehahn Herbst (toe) are both still four to six weeks away from returning from their respective injuries.

Andrew Warwick and Mark Best (both illness) are doubts for Friday’s game and will be assessed during the week to determine their involvement.

Ulster Rugby also confirmed that Peter Nelson, Dan Tuohy (both ankle) and Willie Faloon (mid-foot) will miss the remainder of the 2015-16 season.[/tag]
