Treviso Away 10 Sept.
A bit early off the mark but making a wee break in Italy to take in the game.
Looked at last year's thread and no mention of where people stayed.
Any pointers to hotels in town centre?

Hotel Carlton or Continental are the usual spots. Flights will not be cheap, clashes with the Venice Film Festival. Ryanair from Dublin may be your best bet.

Carlton is th better of the 2 and if you have a hire car parking is fre, it has to be paid for with ContinentalNeill_M wrote:Hotel Carlton or Continental are the usual spots. Flights will not be cheap, clashes with the Venice Film Festival. Ryanair from Dublin may be your best bet.

Cancel it and get yerself out there Justin
Just booked with RUINair from Stansted 06.20am sat morning 10th and back the monday evening 12th
Would normally do fri - monday but impossible to get the friday off, but at least get there really early match day
RUINair have upped the flight prices steadily within the 2 days I have been looking the b'stards
Booked the Continental this time (£132 for 2 nights with hotels.com) as the Carlton is way too expensive these days and over rated IMO

Indeed Gary - over !00 a night and not worth it, only been in the Continental bar so 1st time actually staying in the hotel, don't think it will be up to much tbh ... bit Art Deco style, but a great location is what it has going for it

Stayed in Continental first time in Treviso. Was ok but find Carlton staff friendlier. One good thing - it's a few yards closer to thon Celtic Bar

Indeed big price difference between the two, given they are right beside each other. Continental £30-£40 cheaper per night.
Unlikely to be in Treviso this year, Galway looks like the 1st trip of the season for myself.

I see that Ryanair is still doing direct from Dublin to Treviso in September so will ponder and decide this weekend. Think will try and book room thru AirBnB as I didn't get where I am today by staying in pricey hotels.

Mr O'Leary is looking 187 Euros return for the Thu-Sun. Roughly £150.

That's why everyone else stays in pricey hotels .......HwoodMike2umate wrote:I didn't get where I am today by staying in pricey hotels.
