RBAI going for the treble.
Ballymena should be strong this year not sure about any others

Few odd results and a couple of cry off's so far, but with the inter pro's done and dusted, schools should be able to field their full 1XV teams

CCB will be strong as well, think they have recruited a couple of players.Blow in wrote:RBAI going for the treble.

Wallace will be ok.
Ballymena and RBAI are the teams to beat going by their representatives at Ulster u18 and u19.

Great win for Wallace today against CCB. Excellent win for Wellington against RBAI! I suspect RBAI may have rested the provincial lads but I would have thought they would have had too much for Wellington... Interesting.

Results this morning.
2nd XV lost to Dromore 1st xv 7-8.
3rd XV Seniors lost to wellington 1st xv 18-19.
Against PBC med A lost 5-11, med B won 19-7.
Think the Ulster boys are back next week so wouldn't read to much into that Wallace win.
I thought MCB 1sts didn't play in the month of September and just lets the 2s play? Has NK restructured the fixtures again?

Re: |Schools cup 2017
The RBAI 1xv haven't played since beating Belvedere away. The 2XV team had 8, 5th years and finished the game with 11. 5th years and played a determined Dromore team in feck awful weather. If Dromore do enter the schools cup this year I fear for them if they have to play any of the "bigger" schools, they don't lack the heart or effort but the size and skill difference will be shocking
The 3XV lost to Wellington 1Xv by a point so not a bad effort.
Was shocked at the BRA result as had heard they had a decent team.

In all honesty RBAI should be winning the schools cup at a canter given the returning representative players they have but I hope it's no all plain sailing. Ballymena, Wallace and Campbell will push them hard.MCB are an unknown quantity but having watched one game this year they will score a lot of tries. The BRA result this weekend shows good progress.

I do believe I mentioned Ballymena will push RBAI pretty hard? All the hype will be around the RBAI squad. I think it's also fantastic Dromore are getting into the mix.
