It's gonna be a chilly one 1 degree with light wind. A fine night for cramp in the feet
I fear those easterlies will make it feel a little colder than 1 degree. Thermals or Thermos? Can't decide - either way, it pays to be an old fart.
Go for both. Can't be too careful.

Clive is not worried ... crack up the thermostat ... hit the recliner and into his fav Y fronts and string vest ... Clive knows how to do it right.

Why, not forecasting frost, then again it might be that local micro climate that is a problem

Think of a road Russ, have you never torn along the dotted line? Was it ruined?

NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Only put them on at night. Makes little difference. A couple of days continuous coverage would do the grass no harm anyway.

So when we turn up on friday there'll be nice green grass round the edge and the pitch will be all faded like when you take a tent down.

The folk living in Onslow and Mount Merrion have been asked to turn heating on, light their trendy solid fuel stoves, turn on their ovens, open all their windies and doors, to stave of any chance of the famous Spanners micro climate forcing another sub 45 minute postponement.

Mine said they were sending a taxi for me, but I would have to spend £200 on a match ticket and hotel for the night.

I asked for another taxi to take me home the following day before I agreed.
