Ulster v Connacht match off?

Post by BaggyTrousers »

Well I'm a couple of miles from Spanners. Its 2 degrees so I assume the match is already off.

The covers are still at the launderers, but we've rounded up hoards of pyjama wearing millbag shoppers and they will be herded around the pitch in the bedroom slippers to stop the pitch from freezing. They'll be following a chippie van with 40 x B&H Kingsize ducktaped to the back window.

The met office is reporting a deep depression named 'Barbara' is heading across the atlantic. How apt!
Big winds coming on Friday so the Galway men will be right at home.

My sister and nephew are due on Friday morning on the boat from Cairnryan, I assume they won't make it to the postponed match?

I'm sure they could walk across on the ice ... all the leaf blowers in Europe are at Spanners the Irish Sea can freeze over in the interim.

The met office predicts 6 degrees Celsius for Friday evening in Belfast. What's that in Ulster measurements? Minus 10?
