Ulster v Connacht match off?
Well I'm a couple of miles from Spanners. Its 2 degrees so I assume the match is already off.

The covers are still at the launderers, but we've rounded up hoards of pyjama wearing millbag shoppers and they will be herded around the pitch in the bedroom slippers to stop the pitch from freezing. They'll be following a chippie van with 40 x B&H Kingsize ducktaped to the back window.

The met office is reporting a deep depression named 'Barbara' is heading across the atlantic. How apt!
Big winds coming on Friday so the Galway men will be right at home.

If the Galway men stay at home I really fancy our chances in this one.jean valjean wrote:The met office is reporting a deep depression named 'Barbara' is heading across the atlantic. How apt!

My sister and nephew are due on Friday morning on the boat from Cairnryan, I assume they won't make it to the postponed match?

I'm sure they could walk across on the ice ... all the leaf blowers in Europe are at Spanners the Irish Sea can freeze over in the interim.

Just get the staff to walk on it 10 mins before kick off. Evidence based practice.

Great news, the Blessed Mr Clancy is amongst my favourite refs, ever since he developed from early oafishness. A very fine ref.Neill_M wrote:Mr Clancy in charge on Friday..

Re: Ulster v Connacht match off?
The met office predicts 6 degrees Celsius for Friday evening in Belfast. What's that in Ulster measurements? Minus 10?

Re: Ulster v Connacht match off?
More chance of it being off due to high winds with Storm Babs in town
