Grant income. The details are in section 8 of the financial notes.

Just skimming the report, it says:
"Revenue of £1,175,274 was receivable from the IRFU (Dublin) in the year. £371,230 of this amount is a grant received by Branch, £40,000 of which is allocated specifically to the Ravenhill ground. The remainder is received to cover expenses incurred by the Branch in the development of rugby in Ulster."

So in comparison, some revenue from other sources is:
Sponsorship: £2,525,096
Corporate stand income: £991,156
Professional game match income: £3,278,724
Merch: £133,494
Other income: £675,135 (not sure what this is...)

No wonder the branch bean counters may get twitchy at the impact of sh!te performances on the pitch upon sponsors and punters...

Do players wages not come from Dublin too?

I assume but maybe wrong that CC wages aren't accounted for here...also I see key management get remuneration of £270k a year but not clear whether that is one, two or how many key management we actually have..

Likewise Cockers, I could be wrong , but was of the opinion that all Irish players were employed by D4 and their wages came from the central pot and UR pay the NIQs.

If 81% of IRFU income comes from the national team and the vast bulk of players wages come from , you can understand why D4 wants to pull the strings in the provinces. The only issue is whether they pull the strings wisely and fairly.
