It's a tough one, but it's been pretty clear that a defending player goes up in the air, you can't touch him no matter if it's intentional or not. You can go up in the air with him but if you're on floor then you've a duty of care to ensure he comes down safely. Accidents will happen and a red card is pretty bloody harsh but player welfare I guess trumps everything. I'm still traumatized by Jared's red though so anytime I see anything remotely similar I expect to see a red. Fek, we should have won that match. I think Ulster have been on a downwards trajectory since that day.
