So from a game with little or no expectation of a win to one where Ulster should be very warm favourites to win.

The Irish squad for the Autumn tests is announced at some point this week, so no doubt there will be multiple changes to the 23 for Friday night.

The Dragons have Tyler Morgan, Elliot Dee, Leon Brown, Cory Hill, Ross Moriarty and Aaron Wainwright in the Welsh squad.

They have 9 players injured (Ollie Griffiths, Jared Rosser, James Sheekey, Gavin Henson, Hallam Amos, Ashton Hewitt, Arwel Robson, Brandon Nansen and Joe Davies).

We will be without: Hendo, Rory, Stockdale, Jordi and Cooney for sure.

Possibly Addison and/or McCloskey.

Addison will be in the squad but doubt if big Stu will be in it. Hopefully Speight will be back because we are really light in the three quarters.

Speight returning would be handy. I had forgotten about Gilroy being a possible for Ireland.

Henshaw, Aki, Ringrose and Addison could be a handy centre quartet to take to the RWC.

Would like to see Lowry at 10.

[Unless we are completely lacking in anyone that can play FB - in which case I'd like to see him hit the line as alternative first receiver/ 2nd receiver as often as possible. Payne added so much to our attack doing that, it'd be great if we can make the best of a bad situation by getting Lowry doing the same.]

Looke like Banbridge were going well at scrum time again at the weekend in their away win at leaders Naas.

Surely time to give SVdM a place in the squad? Seems to have played ok in any gametime he has been given this season.

No fresh injuries from the game in Paris. Herring and Speight in full training again.
