Inst lost to Rock 6-3 missing 5 1st XV players and also put 30+ points on belvedere. Admittedly poor results mid season largely down to missing 8 first team players.
Will start Saturday with only 1 player out for the season. Should be a cracker.with MCB looking to get pay back for the medallion shield a few years ago.

Must of picked it up wrong, thought they drew with Rock.
MCB arguably best school in Ireland this year having beaten Blackrock and CBC both favourites for their cups. 20points difference......
Ccb will beat Enniskillen reasonably easily. 15 points plus. Enniskillen overrated. Hardly play any decent teams but play omagh x3 RSD etc so win ratio v high.
Wallace will be at least 20 points up on rainey who are not a great side.
The other two games will be tighter.
St. Michael's are the best team in Ireland IMHO. At the MCB 150 they put 20 or 30 poi ts on Blackrock in 2x10 min halves, Blackrock having beat mcb.

20mins games are slightly different.
Blackrock beat them 3weeks after that tournament at St Michaels. Never mind RBAI beating them.
Anyway we will know the answer very soon as they play each other next week in the cup. My money is on Blackrock.
It was the way St Michael's played. V v fast. I've seen MCB 4 times this year and none of their performances, although v good, were a patch on the St Michael's performance.
I still expect MCB to win this year's schools cup but they didn't get it all their own way even at Dalriada in Rd 4. It was a tougher game than the score suggests. Number 8 got a red card etc. I watched the video. Being favourites doesn't always sit well with MCB.

The MCB number 8 got red carded against dalraida?
Not denying how good St Michaels are but still think Blackrock and MCB would beat them 8 out of 10 times. Stop Chris Cosgrove and you stop St Michaels.

Aye Cosgrove was v good in the game I saw tbf.
So obviously their 8 is banned? Always remember Herdman breaking McNamara’s jaw with a sucker punch,he was red carded and MCB didn’t ban him but made him clean the changing room as punishment. Hope Ulster Branch are on top of this one.
