Coetzee has been a better player this year than Cooney. In my mind it's not even close.

It's basically a player of the tournament award for the Heineken Cup.
Cooney is currently the top points scorer, including 5 tries, and saved us with the boot on more than one occasion.
I don't think it's close either.

Too lazy to work out the national origins of the players. Could be interesting, Irish top?

Cooney will attract the votes of the neutrals.
