Two Hendy's are needed. One to do his carrying work and one to do his clearing out work. At one point he carried beyond the gainline but no one was there to clear out. Hopefully he's coming back uninjured.

Agreed. McCloskey on the bench would have provided a more dynamic impact than Jimmy O'Brien. Just providing cover isn't always necessary when other players can effectively reposition. NZ hadn't huge physicality from 9-13. They struggled with Aki. Aki and Stu had a good cameo at 12 and 13 against the scotch. Ireland needed something dynamic at the end. Perhaps a big carry drawing in defenders. With two physical threats, either potentially being the decoy. I think Joe Schmidt had Ireland worked out. Master defeating the apprentice.
