I’d say Herring is in pole position.

Well, Scarlets unfortunately did not provide a speed bump but how did you feel Furlong did? Very important for my result guessing for the six nations!
From the rolling glens of Antrim through the hills of Donegal we will stand and shout for Ulster as we win both scrum and maul from the lovely lakes of Fermanagh tae the shores of ould Lough Gall we will scream and shout for Ulster as we beat them one and all!

Ulster training down with the ireland squad. Short vid on Facebook showing us score a couple of tries, but more importantly it looked like Addison was taking part in a full contact session.

Interesting take on Farrell from Rory Best. I hope he's right about the new approach being, if I interpret him correctly, more inventive, less boring.

That’s probably because Farrell is too thick to take a leaf out of Joe’s book. Well, too thick to read it anyway.

Adams out for Wales. Big loss.

When's the last time a player has ever said anything other than " the new guy has brought a fresh approach, new ideas, more inventive yadda yadda yadda ..?

I suppose Rory has nothing to lose but he's still not very far removed from the regime.

same faces as before would be my guess -- some older and showing it --- With Sexton as Captain acting as puppeteer a large Leinster showing, playing to the Leinster game plan --- wait for the penalties-- kick for the corner go for the mauled line out try

25 try scored last year --- 13 from line outs over 50 % (fat boys rugby)

The sooner they change the double reward of a penalty kick and throw the better for the game. ( if he the ref is with you the crooked throw won't get called -- if the ref is against you -- its either a crooked throw ,or unpenalised interference by the opposition, or held up and scrum to the opposition .) It depends a little on his state of mind -- I swear some keep a mental record of the penalties etc and call the infringements in a sequence so as to appear fair -- 10 penalties to them 10 to you etc. ( the difference being when and were awarded )
Within this carapace of skepticism there lives an optimist
