Come on, he's called French. He's obviously just come from France.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

I seem to recall the late Johnny Petrie saying shortly before his departure that next season's squad would be at least as strong as this season's.

Without any further additions and with rumoured departures, this is a stretch even for him. Unless he meant this would be achieved by actually playing Sheridan regularly next season and not playing Matty Rea.

I took him to mean that the reduced squad size will result in the remaining players having more frequent access to the weight training apparatus.

Don't we need an S&C coach for that or at least a booking system?
And a map for Marty

This might not be the right place to post this, but it doesn’t fit in the Rumours section. Ruan Pienaar was spotted last night in Holywood in the Dirty Duck. Of course maybe he’s just on holiday…

I see Sam Carter scored in an 80 minute winning outing against the Crusaders at the weekend.

The former Springbok legend and Toyota Cheetah captain, Ruan Pienaar, will take the first steps in his coaching career when he officially joins the Free State u.21 and Toyota Academy coaching staff as the new backline and attack coach.

Pienaar will still play for the Toyota Cheetahs in the SA Cup, whereafter he will hang up his playing boots to move to a full-time coaching position.

Pienaar not coming North for the time being.

Good! Best signing ever but would've been insane to sign him as a coach just because of that. Let's see in a few years.
