Munster playing Wasps upon their return from South Africa, could be scheduling issues if they have to do quarantine etc before being allowed into UK. Playing Lions on 4/12, then Wasps 12/12.

Maybe just enough time to get the hell out of Dodge.

Over to you again URC!

Not ideal for the Munster away fans.

Munster trip was said to be nearly sold out when I looked earlier in the week.

They initially announced they would need a minimum of twenty to run it.

Covid is going to be with us. Vaccines are great in the medium term, but herd immunity is what will save this upstart little race of ours.

Herd immunity is an end goal rather than being a reasonable strategy to rid ourselves of Covid. It relies upon vaccines to achieve the goal. A new variant with significant immune escape and greater transmission rates than previous variants, resets the goal of herd immunity unfortunately. We will have to wait and see with this latest variant.

Zebre and Scarlets flying home from South Africa. Munster have one positive case, Cardiff two, so both still in Cape Town.

They may need to abandon the positive cases in SA in order to get the remaining squad home. Can't imagine they can stay indefinitely there.

Probably too late now to separate the sheep from the goats. I guess the whole squad will have to stay. Perhaps could become a sort of 'warm weather training camp'.

Does that give Bulls an unfair advantage?

Or maybe put them at a disadvantage????
