Watching tonight Wee Mads came across as a good guy and a dedicated Pro. With some rumours of a bad year for him just hoping he can only add everything to Ulster going forward!

So it sounds like Hendy’s fitness is being (micro) managed to get him through to the WC.

No clues on when he may play.

Limerick?

No, that's not a limerick.

A limerick should be a light or humorous verse form of five chiefly anapestic verses of which lines 1, 2, and 5 are of three feet and lines 3 and 4 are of two feet with a rhyme scheme of a-a-b-b-a.

Yon above is nothing like that.

There was a lock forward called Iain,
Who was in a fair bit of pain,
To give him a chance,
Of playing in France,
He was kept on a very tight rein.
Can I come out from behind the sofa yet?

As fine a piece of peotry as we've had here for quite a while. Almost echoes of Seamus Heaney.

Not bad!

One is almost tempted to bump up the limerick thread from a few summers back….
