You will pass both the above bars on the walk to the ground with Thomas a Beckett on the left hand side at 52 St James Road and a bit further on is the Foundarymans Arms slightly nearer the ground on the right hand side at 135 St James Rd. The ground is about 6 minutes walk after The Foundarymans Arms and is on the left hand side.

I missed out sadly.

An unusually good pint of Doom Bar in the Working Mens Club.

They only get some in when there’s a game on apparently.

Does the Working Mens Club still have railing up in front of the bar for the purpose of queuing? Loved it!

Every bar should incorporate.

Nother good wee trip. Northampton is yet to disappoint.

Good to meet up with a few folk from here too.

Predicting we won't get an English team in the R16, and not sure I'd risk the potential hazards of a trip to France. So that looks like it for overseas trips this season. :(

Looking at that again Maybe away in England to quins in a semi. I wonder where that would be

Apparently it's a contractual thing that semis not featuring Sorries will all be played at Barnet.

Also, semis that do feature Sorries will all be played at Barnet, but we're contractually not allowed to laugh if (when) that doesn't happen.
I'm not arguing -
I'm just explaining why I'm right

Once the mixer goes in, you're no longer drinking whiskey/rum/whatever, you're drinking a cocktail!

Anyway, a hip flask doesn't exactly lend itself to footering about with that sort of nonsense. Given the weather, a wee ht thermos of mulled wine might be in order mind.

Edited: can't figure out why that ended up in this thread  >burp >happyparty
Volunteer at an animal sanctuary; it will fill you with joy , despair, but most of all love, unconditional love of the animals.

Put some water in first then pop the flask on the freezer. Add your booze on the way out the door.
