In NZ, it appears that player turnover is also driven by the NZRU allocating players
I think that super rugby franchises are allowed to name 28 players that they want first dibs on from their existing squad or their feeder NPC teams, after that it's pretty much a free market. I think NZRU control the pay and contracts for all professional players; so players outside of those 28 tend to go where they think they'll get most game time.
Like Aaron Smith from Manawatu couldn't get into the Hurricanes roster due to Piri Weepu, and didn't want to be second place like TJ Perenara, so he went to the Highlanders.

Saffers - 10 (including 1 ex-Ulsterman and 5 Stormers)

Maybe a Saffer / Ireland league is the way forward.

Can anyone really see the English or French sides sending full squads to SA?

I wonder will they schedule the games with SA involvement differently?

Also will URC schedule taking ERC travel requirements into account?

Could delay the publication of the fixtures.
Can I come out from behind the sofa yet?

Would make sense for the Stormers say to host London Irish and Clermont in the December window and then do a European mini tour in January / vice versa etc.

Jackman was saying that some of the Bulls missed their connecting flight home and spent a night kipping on the chairs at Schiphol Airport.

Hopefully they’ll rest a few next week although they’ve only got BB to beat at home on the 23rd.

I think it’s fair to say the game is over so I think I’ll switch over now.

Leinster 57-0 Gloucester. Johnny Bell’s defensive structures still standing strong, albeit with a weakened team.

Yes, I’m sure he’s to blame despite him being on his third job since leaving Kingsholm.
