Big losses.
Re: Connacht 2021/22
They are a developmental club designed to help the other provinces. If they can get beyond this and get to the Champions Cup, for example, all the better. Friend has done a phenomenal job on small resources.

Bealham has signed new 2 year.
Re: Connacht 2021/22
Seems that Tom Daly knows when he’s on to a good thing, after all.
Penned a new two year deal.

Re: Connacht 2021/22
watched Connacht v Munster dour game too much niggle by both sides with a Munster Capt of the day moaning constantly at the ref
you may query a decision once or twice but this guy was really over stepping the privilege
Both sides were marginally offside at every ruck or maul with Munster continuously having players in front a breakdown taking people out beyond the breakdown or coming in from the side . As I say it was an ugly game to watch and as a neutral it was difficult to support either

Within this carapace of skepticism there lives an optimist

You’re right Rum’n it was not a great game to watch - both sides looked rusty. However, at least there was an Ulsterman on each side and one in the middle to boot!
Hope is not a strategy.

I enjoyed watching the game (while doing the ironing ). It was a good example of a technically poor game that was still pretty tense and watchable in the second half.
Re: Connacht 2021/22
Connacht putting in an artificial pitch ahead of the 2022/23 season as part of the redevelopment of the Sportsground with final capacity going up to 12k. The redevelopment mean they lose their 2nd pitch which they use for training etc, so the main pitch will have to double up etc and they are going with the 4G given expected use.

So close to beating the tigers but just ran out of steam at the end. Great fight back from Leicester though so credit to them.

Those youngsters are learning fast, if we can keep them together in a year or two Tigers might just be ready to win this again.
