So I just arrived at the gate for the Grandstand and happen to be wearing green cords and a check shirt.

The lady steward said “Ballymena?”

Brilliant!! Got caught up in work. Who do we think will win the final? Think Ballymena are favourites

RBAI have the potential to go 4 or 5 in a row if they win this year

I thought it was a much better game today.

Inst were never going to lose but , apart from looking dangerous down the right with 14 and 15, didn’t play particularly well.

They may have another gear or two?

BA, in damper conditions, set up more like a pro side. Warwick and AOC were there with them today.

Got early traction from box kicks, chased with relish by a physical 14 who looked like a young Trimble, and kicked pretty well generally.

Apart from a couple of lost lineouts when fatigue had set in late on, they looked pretty solid.

Will they be as good in the dry?

Could be a decent final.

Thought I saw Kyle McCall running water for Wallace too. Good to see that between that and captaining hinch he's still an asset to rugby in Ulster.

Addison was out with RBAI as well.

Think all the ulster players were encouraged to get involved with a school or club.

Warwick and Kyle make sense with respect to their old schools. Fair play to Addison, AOC and any of the others helping kids out for the love of the game. Good to see.

Wasn’t a huge fan of watching teenage boys play rugby before I moved here but best of luck to both teams tomorrow.

Going to take the scenic route.

Very good game that, few big units in the Ballymena pack. Thought Busby reffed it sympathetically and very well

Yep. Good game.

Turned on BA butchering that try and then giving away the pen for the high tackle.

Overall I thought BA were the better team but repeatedly handed Inst opportunity after opportunity.
Nevertheless an entertaining game, and and as others have said well reffed by Chris Busby
