Hopefully some of the answers will be found in that pack with a mix of the emerging and the new.
Sheridan listed as lock/ backrow. Worth an inspection in preseason maybe?
You would hope the plane is to give these guys all a shot.

Sheridan was good for the U20s, bit of grizzle about him
Captained Irish Students to the big victory over French Students recently so hopefully a bit of leadership about him too.
McCann & Crothers captained Irish U20s, while McNabney captained the U19s in the games against the French so certainly doing it at underage level - need these forwards to start coming through at seniors. Takes longer with the forwards but Penney at Leinster is still only 22 & is approaching 50 games for Leinster so need to start looking at opportunities to blood them - would they be worse than Matty Rea on the bench?! You have wonder how others were ahead of Marcus Rea who is 24 & been largely ignored until this season & shown he has been clearly able to step up.
Cian Prendergast 30 plus caps at Connacht, same U20 year as McCann, Prendergast will be thereabouts for NZ tour.
Cos he’s better?

Time will tell, but Prendergast is certainly getting more game time / opportunity to excel and he's fit for it. This is a guy who didn't get a Leinster academy contract behind Soroka who has now just a handful of games at Leinster.

McCann was ahead of Prendergast at age grade.

Sometimes you just need to stick the young lads in and let them make mistakes and thrive.

As you’ll know, age grade teams contain lads who can end up as superstars or superstore workers.

There’s a full year between KP and AS but they look weirdly identical, the former being the more mature on and off the pitch.

Both seem to be better prospects than DM at the moment but some players develop later than others, especially if they want to rely on bulk. Gavin Coombes is 24, for instance.

Link to a video from behind the line for the stormers last try. Shows how ulster got their numbering wrong and allowed the overlap despite being a man down. I was blaming madigan and cooney for not being in the line but the video shows we were left with all 3 front rowers on one side of the ruck which they got outside with one pass. This sucked in madigan and cooney to make tackles and left the other backs exposed.

I did wonder how there managed to be such an overlap. I'm sure the video analysis has been done. The outside backs were probably screaming about the gap but the roar of the crowd would have been overwhelming.

Any word on when Adre Smith faces disciplinary for his gouge on Henderson?

Should be a lengthy ban given he received 8 weeks for biting Scannell when playing against Munster back in October.

Have not seen any announcements of a date for his meeting with the committee etc. Not in Springbok squad for Wales tests/Rugby Championship so probably next game not until September, so may not happen for a while??

Two week ban (served) for Adre Smith for his red card. Deemed reckless but not deliberate.
