They shouldn't fcuk around with folk from NI with any vagueness on whether a particular game being broadcast.
Sadly rugby is still governed by a cabal of amateur àrseholès both at IRFU and Ulster level. All IRFU and Ulster branch committees should be abolished. A pile of parasites who are only there for the freebies. 99 per cent of them haven't been at a club game in years.
Here are the facts.
When ITV muscled their way into the broadcasting rites for the 6 nations, one of their terms and conditions was the total block on broadcasting any rugby on any ROI channel into NI. This includes 'magazine' programs like Against the Head which ITV cant offer
Take your frustrations out on Niall Sloan, Head of ITV Sport and native of Portadown. He shafted us.
Ulster representatives on the IRFU have raised the issue many times THe IRFU are powerless, it's those who negotiaote TV deals that dictate the terms.
ITV can only insist on a block on rugby that they own the rights to. Shirley they don't own the rights to all rugby since prime are showing the AIs in the UK.

And in the case of the A game v ABs XV, no one has picked up the UK rights.
The pensioner Sexton will throw a hip out within 25 mins. His replacement, el choco, follows suit 60 seconds later. FIRFU get the rounds of the kitchen and are put back in their box, and the D4 loyal find a way to blame the only nordie b@stard on the pitch.
Will be worth it though. FIR and indeed FU!
