Should a strong Welsh or dominant Scottish side emerge the unfairness of the derbies will need looked at.

I suspect the qualifier from each shield will be maintained.

League won't be a meritocracy until they remove the 2 derby format.
I thought each if the unions had to agree to the shield winners qualifying after a period of time. There is no way the irfu would continue to support it.
Depends how dominant the SAs become.

The SAS are now playing rugby?

S'pose with the Paddy Mayne connection it was only a matter of time.

How will we know if they're playing ringers? Will they still be wearing balaclavas instead of scrumcaps?

If they need to bring on a sub, will they go to the SBS?

Who dare wins, eh?

I got €400 from the SAS thanks to a delayed flight from Stockholm to Dublin :thumleft:

75 mins rubbish box kick, they run it back for a try
78.30 mins rubbish box kick ..............and foul the ball catcher in the air.
Only for their inability to win a lineout we were stuffed
That last box kick was perfect. The tackling in the air was the mistake. There was no chance of going phase after phase at that stage.

Genuinely, how to come up with such negativity after that monumental effort?
Apologies, I have been off line for a few days with Covid. Not pleasant, especially at my age .
Anyhow. Good teams become great cup winning teams by eliminating error and improving on the tiny details which can be costky. Ours is closing out games and game management, ( Heineken qf last year amongst others, ) ,

I hope that the team in its well deserved celebrations replay the last 5 minutes and ask themselves whether they could have done anything differently.......accepting that they were all out on their feet.

It's not negativity. It's called coaching and management.
Anybody note how many turnovers we got and how many Lions got. We've still a way to go to prevent turnovers.
Still, pretty happy with where we are now.

I think Andy Warwick has a couple of apple turnovers after each cowboy supper, if that helps?

How will we know if they're playing ringers?

You ask them what colour the changing rooms in Hereford are

Will they still be wearing balaclavas instead of scrumcaps?
IRB approved sand berets (120 grit) not the most comfortable, but can be worn in the wet and dry.
If they need to bring on a sub, will they go to the SBS?
No - they don't get along. SBS are definitely Senior Service and as we know, SAS smoke Embassy.
Who dare wins, eh?
Or at least gets a LBP or LRDG

Ever since that episode of Changing Rooms from Hereford, the world and his wife knows what colour the rooms in Hereford are. Well the wife anyway. And FWIW, I didn't like the colour Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen painted the them rooms in Hereford.(Not that I was watching - I just happened to be in the room when Mrs Grumpy was watching it.)

Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen would call them beige - wouldn't allow them to go back to Hereford if they wore beige.

:salut:

Need to keep an eye on them SAS types playing rugby - they specialise in 4-man squads and train in the Brechon Beacons.

They could learn a bit of Welsh cheating while they're there - slip on a 16th man (4 x 4-man squads) when no one's looking (and in Wales, let's be honest, generally no one is looking)

Or did Ospreys learn that one from them?
