Heineken Round of 16

Post by StandUp »

Well done Ulster. This has been a horrendous couple of months, but we have qualified for the round of 16.
Can anyone suggest a modestly priced, but reasonably located hotel for the trip to Dublin?
I think I will make a weekend of it, providing I can get tickets, and support the boys on the road.

No doubt you will get tickets, Dublin really is out pricing itself, I detest it

Surely we have enough Dubs in the squad. We could all just head back to their mas' and kip on the sofa.
Can I come out from behind the sofa yet?

Sandymount Hotel or Clayton Ballsbridge coming in at £170 / £180 on 1st April for a double. Free car parking at Sandymount Hotel and a stone throw to RDS / Lansdowne Rd. Free cancellation up to 48 hours before.

That's as cheap as Dublin gets at present.

Sunday night should be reasonable, personally I'd go Sandymount Hotel, it's a rugby hotel, all the games will be on and the bars in it and the marquee bar outside will be filled all day with rugby folk. Plenty of places around Ballsbridge, all within walking distance for breakfast if you don't want to commit to the hotel offering.

May not be Dublin if Irish keep going at Montpellier, 21-0 up. A win by 28 sees Ulster move to 7th with Exeter and Saracens possible opponents.
