Marcel owes us nothing Mervyn. We couldn't match his contribution to get us across the line. Piutau and Afoa agreed.
He was the worst imo. He owed us another good year. Not as if he was here out of the goodness of his heart. A pox on him ... and anybody that looks like him!
Volunteer at an animal sanctuary; it will fill you with joy , despair, but most of all love, unconditional love of the animals.

Apart from that year on his contract, that he had no intention of honouring because covid made him homesick. Despite being back home for most of it. Anyway, Jono Gibbes passed on his cure as he finds himself now in Japan.

It's just a short flight stopover on the way to Waikato. Or at least that's what he'll have told the people in NZ

Coetzee was the best NIQ back row we've had; arguably the best in the pro era. We got 4 seasons out of 5 albeit two injured not of his doing. He made no secret he was going back to bulls for a crack at SA.

FFS StandUp - you are clearly not a true Ulsterman if you have "moved on."

We still haven't forgiven Delon Armitage, yer man Brew or even that Irish guy who used to play for Toulouse , so iwe'll all be long dead before Jono is up for forgiveness from the good and the great of the UAFC.

I certainly revelled in his failure at Ckermont.
Haha too true Bart.

Gibbes in the land where they supposedly value honour.

How ironic

Wait till big Dave gets his tractor going. He will get us over the line much more than Marcell the mercenary did.

I hope so. But Pro rugby players play for money. We pay for their services. Clues in the title. At this level it's just bidness. Corinthian is for the amateur game and long may it run.
Coetzee had 2 career threatening injuries. With a short, curtailed career, he's entitled to earn a living for him and his family. Afoa and Piutau are real mercenaries. Of course JM and RP combined both.

Big Dave has had 4 career threatening injuries which is a concern, but he’s gonna be a machine for Ulster and I would bet he will honour every moment at Ulster.

We played our part in making Piutau a mercenary paying him £500k and making him the highest paid player in the Pro 12 before he went off and became the highest paid player in the Gallagher

Fingers crossed not. A fit and firing Dave Ewers will very quickly become a fan favourite at Ravers and beyond.

Jono

To be honest had a team and then The IRFU Kicked the Key players in that team in the - - - - s. So it is a case of who were the the most dishonourable Jono --Ulster Rugby ( Logan ) or the IRFU .

The only innocent people in the equation were the two victims .
