JP live-streaming on Wednesday.

Link there to submit questions.

Doubtful if he’ll touch on a lot of the topics discussed in this forum, but worth a punt.

Q2. Given Connacht and Munsters finish to the season, do you still think Ulster are handicapped by demographics and comparative lack of money? If not, then what?

Forgot to say it’s anonymous too, so ask the tough questions, because we know the we are brill crew won’t.

I personally wondered when the Rockettes would return, seeing as morale is at an all time low!

Q3. How do you explain our complete inability to produce quality forwards from our youth setup and academy, and instead bring in wasters like Milo and SVDM?

Q4. Why have the likes of Jake Flannery, Angus Curtis, Shea O'Brien, Greg Jones and Callum Reid been given nee contracts when they rarely, or in the case of O'Brien, never play? If they aren't good enough to play for the 1st team last season, why do you think they'll be good enough next season?

Q5. What are you actively doing to close the gap with Leinster and other top European sides?

Q6. Would you admit that our recruitment policy has been a massive failure over the last 5 or 6 seasons? How has Bryn been held accountable?

Do you feel Ulster are approaching next season with a stronger squad than this season and if so, where do you feel the improvements are?

We all know the questions that will be answered will be concerning the pre-match playlist, or if the band will be making a return next season tbf.

On Q4 at least some of these are needed as otherwise ulster won't have the bodies to field a team in case of injury.Squad numbers are already low and some of these guys will either be better than others available or have more potential. Not all of course. Could argue ulster were pretty lucky with injuries in some positions last season which explains the lack of gametime for some of the squad fillers.

Not an excuse for some of the signings/ re-signings but in some cases there is logic

How would you sum up last season and what are the key measurable objectives for next season ? (A bit of corporate speak, I know but would like to know how "success" is being evaluated).

Yeah I take your point. But if the 1st team isn't great as it stands, and these lads aren't near it, then they mustn't be the type of players we would want going away to Toulouse in a knockout game, if there is an injury crisis.

There will always be, and should always be a talent gap between squad players and 1st team players. But when the gap between the 1st team and winning/competing for trophies (our 2nd place trophy doesn't count. . ) is so great, then it becomes a bigger issue imo.

Why was McFarland given such a long deal (or even a deal at all) when you are fully aware of the players not liking/rating him?

Why is McFarland allowed to be a control freak within every area of the organisation?

Why aren’t journalists allowed free reign when asking questions or writing articles?

Anyway it’s pointless because every question will be set up.

Nail on the head, why bother? This is why it isn’t a live forum, cheery pick the questions, pre prepare the answers and therefore he controls the narrative around everything.

What do you actually do that quantifiably justifies your salary and takes 50 hours a week of work?
