Impressive 2nd half from Ireland with the pack dominating in the conditions. Munster look to have a serious talent in Gleeson who had another impressive performance following on from his form in the 6N. Incredible given he is only U19.

Could Ireland be without Gleeson, McNabney, Telfer and Cooney for the rest of the tournament?

Cooney got 2 game ban after tackle school, so back for potential semi final. If Telfer gets same ban, then available for final etc. Gleeson could be out re RTPP etc. McNabney if banned maybe similar ban to Telfer so back for final.

In the 20s, there are two sets of knockout games as every side has to finish in a certain position as 12th gets relegated to the Trophy competition for the following year.

Both McNabney and Telfer got 3 game bans (2 with tackle school), available for final etc.

Ireland Fiji moved to Danie Craven Stadium from Paarl on Tuesday.

Looking at the state of the pitch after the last matches, the move is no surprize

According to the Irish Times, Hugh Cooney suffered a Category 1 concussion v England and had to sit out for 12 days, so his ban will only start after the Fiji game meaning his tournament is over.

Ireland 20s kick at 12:30pm UK Time, 30 minutes before England who are currently top on points difference.

So to win the pool and avoid France in the Semi Finals, Ireland will need to get more match points than England / overturn the points difference gap of 26 if both sides get the same match points.

Virgin Media Two & Player / World Rugby Website & Youtube Channel for live coverage.

This chap, Harry West, is down as from Connacht but he surely has Ulster connections? Sounds like the name of one of your politicians?

Youre thinking of James ( Jim) Nicholson...
James Craig didn't make the squad, and Brookeborough will only play on an Ulster team frae Ulster folk only..
