RWC Fantasy league

Post by solidarity »

Just for the crack, I thought I'd have my first go at fantasy sport so there's now a private UAFC league.

If anybody's interested in joining the wee league go to https://fantasy.rugbyworldcup.com/leagues/join/FHQL1CUE and sign up.

It's a private league and the unique code is FHQL1CUE

Still plenty of places free!

the organiser has chosen a team of the lowest ranked players in each position so, if you join, you'll not come last!

Tried this but had used my budget on the first 12 players. Is it compulsory to have props and a hooker? What do they do?

Can't put my finger on why, but I can't quite shake the notion that a team needs a front row.

This team selection thing isn't as simple as I thought it wuold be.

Well, they are not needed at the scrum because the scrum half throws the ball into the second row anyway. And too small and too heavy to be anything other than redundant at the lineout And . Anybody can throw the ball in!

Who needs em?!

Thepaco into an early 21 point lead!

I'm hoping to pick up a lot of Italian and Irish points today

At the end of the first round, Armlig heads the table (446 points) with Justin only 3 points behind. Could hardly be more exciting!

In the Irish supporters league, I'm sitting at 34956th out of 54706 teams. Our top men are in the top half of the table - come on lads, push for a place in Europe next year!

Pure luck!

Although my French trio of Penaud, Danty and Ollivon have started pretty well this evening!

Possibly regretting taking the armband off Penaud at the last minute though 😆

Theo Dan was a good pick by Martman.

Saw him play for Bishop’s Stortford a few years ago.
