New Park & ride Sprucefield

I'm curious to know how the new park & ride to Kingspan from Sprucefield / Lisburn operated on Friday night. Was there much of an uptake? Did all go according to plan? I might consider using the service in future, what time did the coach get back to Sprucefield?

There was a post on Facebook saying the gates were locked by the time some people got back to their cars and had to call family to come and collect them. I have no knowledge as to the circumstances or whether these people took the bus or not. Happy to hear other views.

That carpark closes Fri 8pm til Mon 6am.

I suppose they had special arrangements for those on the bus, but doesn't givebyou much optoon to change your plans.

You'd be better parking in Barrack St or Laganbank Rd and picking the bus up from Smithfield bus depot.
