The Round of 16 threw up some thrilling battles, but only eight have been able to make it to the quarter-final stage, with all matches set to take place next weekend.
The highest ranked club in each match will have home venue advantage in the quarter-final and semi-final stage.

Seems to suggest sharks will be at home should they win the quarter, especially since the champions Cup semi locations were announced today - leinster choosing croke park.

The rules on the website for the Champions Cup stated that the semis would be in Europe.

That stipulation was omitted from the Challenge Cup rules displayed. Despite this, the UR website has included it.

I hope Ulster have clarity on this issue. Bulls are paying 175k to send their reserves to Northampton.

Looking forward to Leinster v LR tomorrow.

Nearly went but the risk of seeing thousands of happy part-time Leinster fans put me off.

Interesting that most of the Irish pundits seem to be going for the Champs yet the bookies, who tend to be correct more often, make the home side 7 points favourites.

LR never know when they’re beaten but I reckon it’s a big ask for them after Cape Town last week.

Bulls have decided did they can’t be bothered!!
Makes a mockery of the whole urc qualification
Fine them and Dock them URC points
I see in that article a bit about a world club championship. I assume we'll not lose any sleep worrying about how we might fare in that!

I will be supporting Leinster. Any Munster fan that arrives in a red jersey to support La Rochelle is not a real rugby fan.

Been to lots of games, in plenty of sports, as, in effect, a neutral.

I don’t support teams I don’t support (bar rare exceptions - I once went to Colchester v Walsall at Layer Road in an unsuccessful attempt to derail the away side because it impacted upon PNE’s promotion bid at the time).

If pushed, I would probably say that I find it harder to justify supporting another team just because you share an island than I would respectfully leaning towards another side against your main rival.

If an Irish team is playing I support them. Simple rule for me.

Took Quins at + 14 today and they’re another 14 up after ten minutes.

Based upon my gambling success rate, it’s probably a good time to bet on Bordeaux turning it around.

Only Toulouse left of the French now. Should have way too much for Exetaaah!
2 PRL, 1 URC, and likely 1 Frenchie.
Saints will be gnarly and substandard Bulls not a good indicator of how they'll go Vs Ladies.

Toulouse Vs Ladies final.

We are in a totally different universe to this.... >skull

Not sure what the bookies are up to this weekend.

Saints were - 10.

Just need Exeter to come within 21 of Toulouse now.

Great watch now that they/them have found a set of lady balls to match the flair. Game of the weekend.

Toulouse (probably) vs them will be pure entertainment.
Leinster though, seem on a mission.

Looking good for 4/4. Connacht worse than shyte. Maybe we can get a decent third province out of a Connacht/ Ulster select?

Good showing by Exeter so far.

Battling hard and taking their points when they can.

Need to stay in it as long as possible.

Can’t afford to give Toulouse an inch though.
