So what did Dan do or say before the match which improved the speed of ball from the ruck across the line?

Maybe just didn’t have to say anything. Just picked Cooney over Doak……… as he should do every week
It’s not cooneys first game of the season and the ball has been equally as slow when he was on the pitch.
The Ulster pack fronted up, the ball was cleaner and the likes of Kitshoff, Tom o’toole, Henderson and Ewers always made yards.
But Cooney also got the ball away.
