Given recent form, quite generous odds for the away teams on Saturday.

Italy 5/2
Scotland 15/2
England 12/5

Well last weekend Ireland -12 and Scotland -11 were taken out, France more than covered their 7 point spread in Cardiff.

This week

Wales -6 v Italy +6
Ireland -14 v Scotland +14
France -6 v England +6

Of the three second rows last week Henderson was the one or sorted out the line out but did get blown twice -- once from a weak pass from Murray and the second was a 'homer" decision.

In my Opinion Henderson fails the age test will he be there at the next world cup -- I wouldn't bet on it .

Will all three of those picked for Saturday be at the next World Cup tbh I wouldn't bet on it !!!

It is fairly obvious that Henderson has been designated as the official 'scapegoat' for the English defeat. If Ryan was fit, unbelievably Henderson would have been fifth choice for Ireland.

I think McCloskey has more reason to feel aggrieved than Hendy, given that Farrell has decided on a 5/3 split. It was bound to be between Hendy and Baird, and at 24, Baird is the future. Stu, on the other hand, has been passed over for Ringrose despite having shone in his last appearance, and even though there must be a question about Ringrose's match fitness/ sharpness.

Players in tomorrow’s match day squads:

Edinburgh 5
Glasgow 11
Scarlets 5
Dragons 3
Ospreys 3
Cardiff 7
Leinster 16
Munster 5
Connacht 2
Benetton 14
Zebre 3
Ulster 0

Looks like Dan worked wonders to get our shower to second on the log.

Thanks Justin. What a depressing read. It should be posted on the wall in the Home changing rooms.
We have no money, no international players and no hope,
Is there no end to the humiliation of Ulster Rugby.
I make it that 8 of those teams are below us in the URC table.

Last week was the first time since the OPTA stats commenced in 2010 that Ireland didn’t try a grubber, a chip or a crossfield.

Seems odd, especially against a blitz defence.

Maybe Ireland actually lost by not kicking it away?

They should have picked Billy.

Bit of a problem tomorrow. If all results go against us and we lose the 6 Nations championship. Who do we blame?
No Ulster players. So must be Aki or Bealham.
Can we blame our tacklebaggers?
