Hats off to Cooney.

Four of those seven conversions were from the touchline.

This was just the game we needed tonight to bring a bit of confidence back. Maul defence a worry but some decent positives going forward with players looking to try things.
Still a long way to go but the SA trip will help Murphy get his thoughts across.

For the week that’s in it, that’s a decent result - certainly played with the shackles off in attack as compared with the rest of the season, and it was a big loose but also pretty tasty at times and a reminder that we can play ball when we want to.

On the flip side defence was very ordinary, especially our maul defence which was terrible.

I have to say I don’t like Doak at 10, and this evening didn’t do anything to persuade me otherwise.

But a good score line, some good rugby, the players looked like they enjoyed it, and certainly got stuck in - and in all honesty we didn’t really get above third gear.

The Dragons lad missed a shocker.

I thought Addison might have been in touch for that first score. Surprised it wasn't TMO'd.

Good to score 49, but a Glasgow 2nd XV restricted the Dragons to 7 points 2 weeks ago. So poor on defence.

Conceding a TBP against the worst team to visit Ravenhill in a good while wasn't great

Big bonding session for the lads (and at least one of the coaches) tonight and why not?

Interesting to hear an Ireland international say how good a player he thinks Jude is.

Yes it's definitely worth watching. The Dragons are not good but a few of their tries were from well executed mauls or close range scores. We didn't see the absolutely abysmal defending from the Os game. Some good Ulster attacking play with offloads and quick hands. Stand outs for me were Postlethwaite, Hume, Lowry, Timoney and Reffell.

Approaching brill.

First sane response on this thread. Dragons, god love them, were awful. Instonians would have comfortably beat them jesus christ they were bad. Yet still they score 4 tries v ulster. Nothing about this is a good news story.
