Hello, Is there anybody in there?

Post by the original kimble »

Scoop runs up against another brick wall

“Knock, knock…hello…is there anybody in there, just nod if you can hear me….hello?

Strange, I could have sworn I saw the curtains twitch.

And there’s definitely music coming from somewhere.

Hello? Hello? I don’t think they’ve wired up the bell yet.

Blooming typical for a Monday night….must all be in bed already.”

I am but you are not. Would this be how you felt?

Talkin' to myself and feelin' old
Sometimes I'd like to quit
Nothing ever seems to fit
Hangin' around
Nothing to do but frown
Rainy Days and Mondays always get me down.

What I've got they used to call the blues
Nothin' is really wrong
Feelin' like I don't belong
Walkin' around
Some kind of lonely clown
Rainy Days and Mondays always get me down.

Funny but it seems I always wind up here with you
Nice to know somebody loves me
Funny but it seems that it's the only thing to do
Run and find the one who loves me.

What I feel has come and gone before
No need to talk it out
We know what it's all about
Hangin' around
Nothing to do but frown
Rainy Days and Mondays always get me down

All the children were in our beddies early last night. Nice of you to call around to see us. Hope you brought lots of pop crisps and a wee chocy bar or two as well.

A welcome from the UAFC to the original kimble et al.

I've been alone with you inside my mind
And in my dreams I've welcomed you a thousand times
I sometimes see you pass outside my door
Hello, is it me you're looking for?

I can see it in your eyes
I can see it in your smile
You're all I've ever wanted, (and) my arms are open wide
'Cause you know just what to say
And you know just what to do
And I want to tell you so much, I love you ...

This one comes in mono, unlike kimble & cables who now post in stereo on two sites.

Colin, I think all children now live in the UR message board, toys are being thrown at each other  and the post giving support to Ulster players in Japan has totally gone off track
Some of the people involved were critical about things like this on the URSC board, isn't it strange how things turn around

Isn’t it fascinating how history repeats itself!

Toys and prams on the dark side and everyone tucked up in bed on this side!

Well, I'm off to find the corkscrew!

I'm still awake, I think :?
