Football/Rugby Stadium in East Belfast

Post by Cockatrice »

Out of interest how many people would have supported a joint stadium in East Belfast between Ulster and Glentoran? at a guess say up 15,000-20,000 seater.

Me!!!! :D Although the oval is the traditional ground of the c o c k & hens, and a very good pitch at that, its time for them to move on. The place is falling apart and a stadium in the Titanic quarter would have been great

yea i would have probably supported the idea even thought i hate glentoran! but then again glentoran fans have to go to windsor to watch northern ireland. so i suppose i could go along with your idea

Wouldn't have a problem with it. As long as it was easy to get to on a Friday night and near a bus route to the city centre for post match entertainment.
