New Kit

Post by BR »

The change kit looks a bit Llanelli-ee-ey (sp??). But in general I think they look OK.

Glad they are offering us a range of replicas including a long sleeve cotton shirt.

What is the difference between the "Home Test" Jersey (£70) "Home Poly" and "Home S/S" Jerseys (both £55).

I assume they are different materials but the website doesn't say what.

Home Test - It is basically the players jersey, very similar to what you see them playing in at Ravenhill. It is fitted and the CCC badge is larger than the normal shirts.

Home Poly - It is just the normal shirt made of a polyester style material

Home S/S - It is the bog standard short sleeve shirt made of basically just cotton

Hope that helps!

I would have thought that the 'test' is the fancy 'temtex' or whatever material (as you say similar to the real mccoy). The 'Poly' is the standard replica shirt (polyester/cotton mix IIRC). The alternate/youth shirts described as 'S/S' are probably the same as the adult 'Poly'. And the 'Cotton L/S' is just that ...

Gotta say, not too fond of that one, too much red and black. Maybe I am just too much of a traditionalist

Or to save you the bother of waiting on it to be posted, why not go to Sportsbeat in Ards. Stevie Baxter already has an allotment on sale!

The test one is pretty pricey. Is the poly longsleeve same material as the Ireland replica shirts.

i think it looks pretty class... nathan's pretty much got it spot on. the test jerseys were quite hard to get past couple of seasons... (instantly recognisable by large CCC logo)... i think they're made of temex, and have more detailing and ventilation etc.

worth paying the extra for
