lost 17 5 to Munster last night. And I don't think they could be too many complaints if the digits in the Munster score were reversed. That's how dominant they were.
A few observations
- the Munster lads were bigger - signs of more time spent in the gym - and skills were better
- the Munster set up was far more professional than Ulster's
- the 'fourth officials' were a joke - constantly having to be reminded of rules and regulations by the tj, stewards and spectators
- the Munster supporters were as blinkered as they always are!!

Most of the Ulster lads are under 20 and save one player it is a new team. They were playing with the 3rd choice hooker and it showed. Munster were physically stronger and more dominant and a year older. There was plenty of heart displayed but it was not enough. To their credit they never game up. At one stage they were within a converted score of levelling. Which to be honest and fair to Munster would have been an injustice. But will all of their advantage territorily and posession Munster should have been out of sight by half time which is great credt to Ulster and thier staff but the backs save Watt and Bartholomew offered nothing in attack.
Report hopefully up when Fermain gets back from the shoppig.

They turned over any possesssion they had and the set pieces were awful. The bigger stronger Munster pack just muscled them out of it. PLus Munster's backs moced on to the bal at pace somethihg the Ulster backline rarely achieved. But the esperience will do them no harm, could be a long season for them though
