The UAFC

An Indian chief had three wives and each time they produced a child they were given a present. The first wife produced a beautiful daughter and was presented with a beautiful buffallo hide. The second wife also produced a beautiful daughter and she too was presented with a buffallo hide. The third wife produced the chief's first son. The chief was so pleased that he sent his trusty friend to find a suitable gift for his wife. He scoured the country far and wide and managed to aquire a hippopotamus hide in exchange for two buffalo hides. This the chief proudly presented to his third wife.
This proves that the squaw on the hippopotamus is equal to the sum of the squaws on the other two hides.
