Jamesie's relatives

Post by aarons »

Jamesie, this is your cousin, right?

sorry to hear about the old knee.. he's taken the news fairly well though
"It is a serious knee injury, one which puts rugby players out for six months," said the 19-year-old from Ballyclare.

"But with the help of the medical staff I hope to be back on my bike in four."
that's the spirit 8)

That's him Aaron, best of luck to the lad and he was doing so well up to now, must be a huge dissapointment :(
Just noticed that myself this morning and thought I caught the end of a radio interview last night.

silly wee fecker spilled in a presentation race after cleaning up all before him in the sunflower trophy the previous weekend... problem is that he always rides on the edge (bit like me  )

he's done a bit of a gazza. fecks up his knee just before the biggest move of his career :? a ride for HM plant honda in the british superbikes next season then if all goes well possibly on to knock valentino rossi off his perch in moto GP

trying to get him to come to reading but i think he's more interested in going to the emirates

fast bikes, women, money etc... i'm not bitter

See that Jonathan is back in form :D

Ulster whizz kid Jonathan Rea scored the biggest success of his short career so far when he won the Suzuka two hour endurance race in Tokyo yesterday.

Rea was partnered by his Honda team-mate Riyouchi Kiyonari and this pair will also be in action at the British Superbike Championship at Mondello next Sunday.

Rea, needless to say, was more than delighted with his success and said: "Kiyonari led for the first part of the race but I hadn't a great deal to play with when it was my turn to go on the track. Then the rain came down and that didn't make matters any better. I began to lose ground and was in fifth position before I got my act together after a rider had passed me. I thought at this stage I was going to be last, but I got a grip on things and ended up lapping faster than any other rider on the track.

"It was a great thrill to cross the line in front and to be mobbed by the enthusiastic Japanese spectators. There must have been about 50,000 of them there all wanting to get on the track at the finish. It was certainly an experience I will never forget."

Rea now has time to settle before heading home today for the big meeting at the weekend and at present he is lying third behind Kiyonari in the British Superbike Championship.
